Join for the Summer 2024 quarter's Poet Camp Book Club! We're reading/discussing/writing towards Inciting Joy by Ross Gay.
How it works...
Month 1: Read! (July) *Announcing a little bit early for those who have extra time to read in the summer or who'd like to get an early start.
Book club book is announced! Joy! Excitement! Those who sign up will receive a set of questions that we'll use to frame our thinking the rest of the time we spend with this book.Month 2: Write! (August)
We'll read! We'll ponder! We'll post favorite quotes in a book club members only Poet Camp page. Sarah will send a few prompts inspired by this book to encourage you to generate work inspired by our reading.
Month 3: Share! (September)
We'll gather on Zoom for an evening of sharing our thoughts about the book, and a read-around of poems inspired by the book we've read.
Each quarter costs $25 to join. Commitment is quarter by quarter. Each season will have a separate signup, and we'll be reading a different type of book, and unthemed except for Sarah falling in love with it, and wanting to share!
*This book club is for adult Poet Campers, and the prompts and discussion will be geared towards that audience.
