2025 Craft Cafeteria Essentials: Bundle

Session 1 (Monday): The House of the Poem: Line breaks, stanzas and white space
Session 2 (Tuesday): Prominent places: Titles, last lines, first lines
Session 3 (Wednesday): Within Reach: Extension, activation and gesture
Session 4 (Thursday): Music: Soundplay, rhythm and repetition
Session 5: (Friday) Read-around and Closing Notes (included in registration for any/all weeks)
*Each day's time is the same - 7:00-9:00 p.m. Eastern Time
We will look at 2-3 poems each session. I’ll share a few craft thoughts focusing on that session's craft element, and make some observations about each individual poem, then I’ll share two prompts focused on that element for the week ahead.
Each session will include time for group discussion and observations, questions and recommendations.
*This is a LIVE offering via Google Meet. Sessions will be recorded! If you’re unable to attend, you’ll still receive materials for that week, along with the handouts and prompts.
Everyone registered will be invited to share at our read-around on Friday, 11/14.
